Imogene is back. This time she gets to spend the summer in Paris, working again as an intern at HAUTELAW and covering the much anticipated Couture Week. Well that is, until the models go on strike and all the fashion shows are cancelled. Imogene panics, knowing if there’s nothing to cover, there’s nothing to keep her in Paris - that is, until she stumbles upon a hidden stash of designs. She and Evie concoct a scheme to keep Imogene in Paris, covering the hot, new and not to mention elusive designer, Monsieur X.
The only problem, Imogene’s not sure Monsieur X really even still exists and now her whole summer depends on that little piece of info not being found out.

I have to say I loved this book. It picks up a year after A GIRL LIKE MOI left off and Imogene is a little more mature and a little more experienced. Finally her dream of spending the summer in France is coming true. But when her dream summer is threatened, she’ll do anything she can to convince Spring Sommer to keep her in Paris, overseeing the Parisian operation of HAUTELAW - which at the moment, doesn’t amount to much more then checking in on the renovation of the houseboat that will serve as their offices.

Add in the appearance of Brooke and the rest of her Wolfe pack and Imogene’s summer has the potential for disaster.
